Chrissy was studying in America in 2008 then ran away to join the Weirdigan circus for a whole season. It was a bit of a gamble all round - we hadn't met and it could've been a horrible mistake. But...
Chrissy must be the coolest, calmest, most stoical Weirdigan we've ever had. Nothing fazes her. Sleeping in a collapsed tent, wallowing knee deep in mud, digging miles of trenches for electricity cables and water pipes, doing marathon wash-up sessions in the middle of the night, stock-taking by torchlight, facing off cake-thieves... Chrissy took it all in her stride and kept smiling.
We're over-the-moon that she returned in 2009 before heading off to explore South America. And we're still hoping she might make it back again one day...
