Kristen had a summer of stewarding, bar-work and litter-picking lined up for summer 2007. He decided to stalk Weirdigans around the festies... Lucky for us, 'cos there he was waiting in the wings when Big Rob went down with a back injury and we were wallowing in mud at the Workhouse. 'Sten jumped into Rob's boots and was soon hoisting the tent and digging ditches like a good 'un. He's jumped ship once or twice since then but he'll be back aboard for the 2011 season. Sten often makes us laugh 'til our bellies hurt and frequently surprises us with his disarming honesty and lavish fancy-dress costumes. He surprises himself by rediscovering the joys of washing up on a regular basis. Sten plays a myriad musical instruments, is a mean hoola-hooper and bakes very good cakes.
